Purchased for MIL as a gift. She has kids and grandkids that live away from her and this is a great way for the family to include her in their activities. The frame itself looks nice, not cheap plastic, and can be hung or displayed on a flat surface. The display is gorgeous - I was seriously impressed by how crystal clear and vibrant the images were! I like that it will accept video as well and there's an option to turn the sound off (we have wrestlers and baseball players in the group, so the videos can be a little loud!) and you can set the screen to be less bright at a certain time so it doesn't disturb sleep if used as a bedside frame. You can set it to run on a schedule or continuous. The app and account was easy to set up. Shared the link with the family so we can all upload pics that will auto scroll on her screen. Uploads appear on the frame literally within seconds of sending. Shows when new pics are added and by whom. Upload let's you add a caption or note to the upload to explain or date the image. Also has a calendar and weather function. Holds up to 800 images and can be expanded with a card or images can be downloaded to a computer/USB device. I wish it had a battery backup option as there's a warning not to unplug with the power on - hoping it doesn't cause an issue if there's a power loss. This is a great gift for anyone, but especially for those that have family they can't see every day. I wish I had gotten one for myself!

Costing less than $40, I wasn't expecting much. I was pleased with the quality though. It works well and has a decent quality display. The "frame" itself is just a plastic border - nothing fancy. I like the fact that it displays the Time and Temperature in the corner (configurable). The touchscreen menu is very basic. It defaults to zooming in on all photos unless you use the menu to disable it for each photo. I wish it defaulted to not zooming. You cannot delete individual photos from the touchscreen menu, but you can disable photos to stop them from being displayed. It uses the Frameo phone app to load photos remotely. I wish there was a way to load photos over the web from a PC, but that doesn't appear to be supported.

Super easy to set up and the app makes it easy to see what you have already uploaded on the frame so you don't add doubles. I like that you can add a note and info to the photo and they like that it also tells the time and weather if they want it to. It was easy to share how to upload to it so other family members can also share photos and it tells you who uploaded them on the frame. I purchased this frame for myself and it’s the best gift I could have given myself! After opening I read the instructions and followed them exactly and this digital picture frame was up and running and was beautiful. This first thing I did was download the app and set up my account which was easy, I started moving pictures into the frame and WOW they were beautiful, I love that I can add a caption to every picture, I can add a ?? emoji, more importantly my daughter can add pictures via the app with a one time code she can continue using indefinitely! I love it because instead of texting me pictures of my granddaughter she can send them directly to my frame!! And I can hide pictures if I choose to! I like that you can keep the frame upright or sideways but I think I’m gonna get a few more and keep landscape pictures on one and portrait on another. Once you load your pictures you can unplug it and take it with you too, which I’m gonna do when I work out of town next month!!! Absolutely love this frame, I purchased it for $49.99 I hope I find it on sale again!! 10 out of 10 you will not go wrong with this, especially if you have family far away, you can load pictures from anywhere! I purchased this digital photo frame as a Christmas gift for my parents, who may technically qualify as elderly but in seeing them one would put them around 67 years old. The first reaction upon opening the box with some difficulty and the aid of a substantial hunting knife lent by a 60+ nephew (alcohol addict in remission) was one of concern as it seemed somewhat incomprehensible until I explained (exclaimed?!) “it’s a photo frame!”. A look of relief ensued from my mother, who it is known can become consternated when faced with something inexplicable. After a moment she reverted saying “are you gonna help set this up because, you know, your father…” to which my father across the room hemmed and twitched his fingers announcing “well we can manage it”. I said “yes of course I’ll help in a couple days when I visit”. She responded “visit?”evidently forgetting that I would be coming for 2 days to visit. From my side my concern about any damages incurred during shipping was unallayed and would have to wait until I got my hands on the thing.

Two days later find me in my knees in a corner trying to find the invisible plug (found) on the back to get some juice in this little black plastic contraption (not impressed with quality of plastic). It was a good size which should be positive for those elderly eyes. We had to download an app (“put it on my phone because your mother’s is a mess”) and set up an account (“well Google of course that’s easiest”…all were equally easy). And then wander through the app to finally manage to set it up. It wasn’t the easiest nut could have been harder. You can register the frame with your phone and then choose and send photos to the frame using the app (make sure you grant access to your photo library). I sent a few photos and set it up to slideshow. The ‘rents seem to like it, telling me about another one they had 15 years previous which bought the farm during a house move. I hadnto shuffle stuff around in a shelf and get an extension cord because it needs power. The frame looked pretty good especially when I don’t wear my up-close glasses and inspect the plastic frame. The images are pretty clear with good color. You can also buy a bunch and give them all names in the app and send different photos to each one in different rooms… that does sound a bit like a recipe for confusion in our case…though for others it may be easy peasy.

All in all it was a gift ”win” this year…so I am pretty happy with this purchase’.

I bought this frame for my grandmother for her birthday so she could get pictures of all the great grand babies faster. She loves it so much she watches it more than her tv now. I pre downloaded over 120 photos before giving it to her and have sent many more since then from where ever I'm at when I take the pictures. She loves the content flow of new pictures now. You can definitely tell it's made of plastic but for the price and how easy it is to work its definitely something I would buy again.
