My family has three of these - one for two of my grandparents and one for my parents. This is typically marketed towards getting for out of town family or grandparents, but honestly I would love to have one for my house as well. It’s just so nice to display a lot of pictures without having to get them printed. My grandparents absolutely love the frame. They watch for picture updates every day. It’s a great way to share memories with them!

I love this frame because there is no limit on how many pictures you can have. It is also very easy to set up - even as a gift. I bought for my grandma who lives far away and I shipped it to my house. You can see in the pictures there is a QR code to scan if setting up as a gift. You can add pictures and invite other family members to add pictures all before the recipient receives the gift. You can even set it up to attach to their wifi if you know the password so that whenever they open it, there’s no setup for them.

It’s a high quality frame and I love the white matting around the images.

This is the second wifi connected smart frame I've owned. The first, Skylight, although the picture display was good, it required a yearly fee to unlock additional storage and the ability to play videos. The Aura frame is perfect! Not only does it look nicer with the narrow frame, it's easy to set up, to send pictures and videos to, and to share. With Skylight, you can adjust the photos at the frame level. With Aura, you adjust the photos in the Skylight app. Both the Skylight and the Aura frame allow you to schedule when it's on and when it's off. The Aura turns off completely and displays a black screen, good if it's in a room where someone may want to sleep. The Skylight dims and stops showing photos, but still shows a grayish screen that may bother some.
My Skylight frame lasted 4-years. When the WiFi connection abruptly stopped and customer service said that it couldn't be fixed, they offered me $20 off the price of a new one and 2-months free Skylight plus.
That started me down the rabbit hole of looking at new WiFi connected frames.
The Aura Carver is the best of the best in every aspect!

We have so many pictures from family vacations that never leave my phone and this frame is the perfect solution to show everyone else our pictures! 15" is a great size to easily display your pictures and make them easy to see from a distance. Setup was a breeze, within 10 minutes of opening the box I had it setup and displaying pictures. I love that you can choose portrait of landscape and the frame can either sit in the stand or be hung to display your pictures. The frame looks great and I have already received so many compliments. You can set the timing of how frequently the pictures change AND manually change them by swiping across the top of the frame. I have already thought of several places I would like to purchase additional frames to display our pictures! I am also looking forward to inviting others to share their pictures on our frames.

I wanted to get something for my parents on Christmas that they could enjoy and wouldn’t just add clutter to their home, so this ended up being the perfect solution. It was easy to set up, and since it’s connected to wifi you don’t have to worry about SD cards or anything like that. You download the app, and can add pictures and they show up on the frame. The rest of my family added the app and we can all add pictures to the frame at any time. My parents have the option of removing any pics if they want to straight from the frame as well. The picture quality is super crisp, very impressive. The slide control bar on the frame is also easy to use. The frame itself is very elegant as well. This was a solid purchase! Me and my parents are very happy with it.

This digital frame from Aura is a fantastic way to share photos and videos. We purchased this digital frame as a gift for my in-laws for Christmas on the advice of our daughter. Little did I know that she had purchased one for us as our Christmas gift after seeing how excited I was setting this one up. So it was a great gift to give and a great gift to receive.

Set up was easy, you can invite an unlimited amount of family and friends to share photos and videos, and the cloud storage allows for unlimited images.

This makes a great gift and is a conversation piece when visitors come by.

Bought this for my parents for a Christmas gift. I wanted something that looked nice buy not cheap. I loved that you can setup the App and be able to invite other family members to add pictures. There is no limit. You can setup different ways to display the photos. It was very easy to setup prior to giving to my parents. Came in great packaging. My parents love it and love that we can add new and old photos at anytime. Worth the money!

This maybe a long review, but I think it's important to mention as others may be trying to do what I had to do. Downloading tons of "old digital photos" that aren't easily accessible on your phone.
This is the 2nd digital frame I've owned. I bought the Aura Carver. The first frame I owned was the Skylight, which was essentially the "only show in town" at the time for being able to instantly transfer photos to your frame via email.
I was tasked with downloading nearly 4,000 photos taken many, many years ago (20-25 years ago to be exact) with those older digital cameras that weren't exactly cheap at the time. Price wise. These "cheap" digital cameras were used before cell phones existed, for a quick history lesson. :) I downloaded all these pictures on a thumb drive and plugged it into the external USB slot in the Skylight frame. Unfortunately, It would only transfer around 100 to 150 photos out of that whole bunch. Due to larger file sizes, formatting issues or other reasons... this was just the case. Other than that issue, the frame worked fine. Then, due to recent problems with my Skylight frame after upgrading modems, and them not offering any solutions other than a $20.00 voucher for a new Skylight frame, I decided to go with a different brand out of spite. :) I'm glad I did.
After opening the package after Christmas (2023) I began the daunting task of downloading the same batch of photos previously mentioned. I plugged my thumb drive into my PC to accomplish this. You can also do all tasks on your computer as well as using the Aura phone app. I prefer to use my computer, rather than on my phone. I'm old school that way. Long story short, I was able to transfer nearly 1,300 photos from the old batch. I could've transferred all 4,000 but I deleted duplicates, out of focus, and just bad pictures in general. My folks became a bit over-zealous taking pictures back in the day knowing you didn't have to take them to the drug store to be developed. :)
I was able to transfer up to 500 photos at a time on the Aura interface deleting the bad ones and downloading the keepers. Granted, this took me about 3 or so hours to do, but it was over 4,000 photos to sift through! I was able to do this without a hick'-up using the Aura website. Their software condensed the photos into manageable sizes automatically. I was extremely impressed.
Picture quality was as good as it could be for old cameras, but I was mostly impressed with how quickly I was able to accomplish this and the ease of doing it as well. This review is probably geared more towards people who are attempting to download old photos that remain in a folder collecting dust in your computer somewhere. I've also downloaded current photos from my phone which was also a very simple process. They look much better on the frame than the old photos do, as would be expected.
They say it's unlimited cloud storage so you can download to your hearts content. They also include video footage which you have to pay extra for with other digital frame companies. I would imagine these have to be short and sweet. I haven't tried this yet.
Overall, I am extremely pleased that I went with Aura. Based on my experience and the positive reviews I've read... I think you'll be pleased as well.

We purchased another brand (Skylight 10”) and decided to buy a larger version. While I had no issues with the Skylight, but the Aura we like more. From the packaging to the increased size and picture quality it seems a level up. They operate differently where with the Skylight you email pictures to the frame. Very easy. With the Aura you download the Aura app and set up an account. Then you are invited to the picture frame. Also easily done. As the owner it took me literally a minute to invite other family members.

The 10” is suitable for a nightstand where you are no more than a few feet away or on an office desk. 10” is very suitable in those applications. I’m sitting 15’ from the 15” Aura and can easily see the pictures which is more challenging on the smaller frame. The 15” is great for a living or dining room. For or need we prefer the larger frame. The packaging, fit and finish of the Aura frame is very Apple like if you’ve purchased any of their products.

I gave this frame to my mother for her birthday and preloaded it with photographs as an extra surprise for her. This process was very simple!

I live in the US and she lives in Canada. When she opened the package, unfortunately the screen was damaged.

I contacted Customer Service to inquire about transferring the photos onto a new frame, and without prompting the agent asked about the damage to learn more about what happened. Without hesitation she offered to replace the frame and within days my mother received a new frame in the mail.

The process was seamless and the new frame was very easy for her to set up.

Just today my mother texted me to say how much she is enjoying the frame and how much she loves the surprise factor--she never knows what picture will pop up next.

My brother and I are both connected to the frame so we both can add photos whenever we want which really makes my mother happy--we all live thousands of miles from each other and this makes my mom feel closer to us.

My mother is 81 years old and had no problem setting up the frame. She even enjoys "liking" different pictures, and it's fun for me to get notified about these likes. Overall, I'm very impressed with the frame and even more impressed with the company. Don't hesitate to get an Aura Frame. Totally worth it!
